The R550-00 adoption fee barely covers the cost of all the vaccinations, sterilizing the animal and all care to date. If the pet is under 6 months of age you will need to As per your adoption contract, return to CLAW for sterilization (the cost was already included in your adoption fee). Please seriously consider taking your new furbaby to the vet and having him/her microchipped - at least put on a collar with a tag and your contact information as soon as you take him/ her home.

CLAW is always looking for Foster homes to help rehabilitate special needs cases - the newly born and very young, the frail and recuperating CLAWbies, the traumatised or heartbroken etc. CAN YOU ASSIST???

Help to rehabilitate and rehome a rescue/ shelter dog and become a halfway house where the rescue dog learns house rules and manners, and becomes socialised and re-integrated into a family situation (as opposed to living in a shelter or kennels). Fostering is a wonderful way of getting involved in animal rescue and rehabilitation (many people find volunteering at shelters too heart breaking).
