A rewarding goal is to teach the your CLAWbie to sit as a default behaviour for anythingyour CLAWbie wants. Sit = "Please may I..." The sit default behaviour will become generalised and the CLAWbie will use it whenever (s)he is asking for something and even when feeling unsure or insecure...   Teaching the sit, helps the CLAWbie learn:

• emotional self-control and impulse control,

• learn that humans are fun and worth listening to

• and to look up to humans for care guidance and security.  

Your CLAWbie will learn to sit when meeting visitors, when getting fed, when going through doors... and this is more socially acceptable and rewarding than nuisance behaviours such as jumping up, or barking or barging ahead,,,
